Just as inviting people over forces you to clean up your apartment, writing something that other people will read forces you to think well.

In the past, I’ve reneged on a number of posts to this blog. I am no longer going to do so1. As I’ve written before, I thoroughly enjoy writing for many reasons. Most importantly, it helps me think. My reluctance to post has typically been caused by one of two reasons: my uncertainty regarding what you, the reader, might find interesting and the fact that no one cares what I have to say. I’ve gotten to the point where I don’t care if you don’t care what I have to say. This is the internet, where no one forces you go places you don’t want to go. If you don’t find what I am writing about interesting or beneficial in any way, please feel free to not visit this site. I will not be offended.

From here on out, the content will be less “this is what I’m doing in my life”, which I’ve found quite boring to write — and for you, to read — and more about various things happening throughout the world. Think of it as a liberal arts blog of sorts, covering anything and everything. I hope you enjoy the new direction.

  1. For those who remember me saying this once before and vowing to blog regularly, I’m actually going to do it this time.
