“Stop This Train”
Having recently turned 21 (more on that later), I realize how quickly time flies. It seems like just yesterday I was waiting to turn 13 so I could officially be a “teenager”. Now I can purchase alcohol legally. Wow, that was fast. My mind jumps from wanting to be older and start the rest of of my life to wishing I was 15 again, sitting around a bonfire with my friends and having my Mom pick me up at 11:00. These songs all reflect some sort of coming of age or maturity in some way. “Stop This Train”, one of my favorite JM songs, is actually about the people we love getting older. I sometimes wish I could just freeze time so my friends and family could stay how they are forever. Alas, that is impossible. I will have to settle on some great music to keep me in this place in time.
